How a bathroom renovation runs
Site visit and measure, a written quote, then a programme. A full renovation is usually two to three weeks on site: strip out, plumbing and electrical rough-in, any building or rot repair, waterproofing with the curing time the membrane needs, tiling, fit-off, painting and a final clean. If it is your only bathroom we tell you exactly which days it will be out of action, and we coordinate the plumber, electrician, tiler and painter ourselves so the sequence does not stall.
Where we renovate bathrooms
We are based at Timberlea in Upper Hutt and work across the Wellington region: Wellington city from Karori and Johnsonville to Miramar and Island Bay, Lower Hutt including Petone, Eastbourne and Wainuiomata, all of Upper Hutt, Porirua, and the Kapiti Coast from Paekakariki to Otaki. Travel is built into the quote, not added afterwards.

Waterproofing, ventilation and consent
The membrane under the tiles and the extraction that gets steam outside are what decide whether a bathroom lasts, and neither is visible when the room is finished. We apply membrane systems to the manufacturer's specification and fit ducted extraction that vents outside, not into the ceiling. Replacing fixtures in the same place is usually exempt from consent; moving the toilet or shower changes the drainage and normally needs consent, and a new bathroom always does. Licensed plumbers and drainlayers do that part of the work.
